The Wapiti Pack conducts a late morning hunt, successfully killing a newborn bison calf. The calf was shoved and pushed by other members of the herd before the wolves reached in and grabbed it. The cow bison stood over the remains of her calf, not allowing the wolves to eat, eventually forcing them to leave.
